GreCon's full line of Online Quality Assurance Measuring Systems is applicable in countless industries from Wood Processing and Pulp and
Paper, Powder and Bulk and Chemical, to Plastics, Rubber or anywhere else production requires precision monitoring and product measurement for quality control.
GreCon Thickness Gauges are used primarily in the Wood Processing, Paper, Plastic, and Rubber industries. Installed before and/or after a continuous press, any sheet-fed product can be monitored on-line for dimension tolerances.
GreCon Bond Analyzers are used primarily in the Wood Processing/Panel and Laminate industry, where blows and panel defects are a common problem due to the bonding process. In multi-opening press lines, Bond Analyzers are typically installed directly after the discharge station. In single-opening presses, the preferred location is after the cooler. In continuous press production, it is normally installed after the cut-to-size saw, with final inspection after the sander recommended.
GreCon DIEFFENSOR system is used in MDF, Particleboard and OSB production. The system is installed prior to the main press for steel belt protection against high density objects in the mat. The system also provides weight per unit area and material distribution graphical display data to assist the operator to adjust the forming process for optimized panel boards.
GreCon Weight-Per-Unit-Area Gauges are applicable primarily in the Wood Processing industry where sheet-fed products are mat formed and then pressed. The Weight-Per-Unit-Area Gauge is installed after the forming process to measure the mat properties and the weight distribution prior to pressing.
StenOgraph Raw Density Analyzer is applicable only in MDF, Particleboard, and OSB continuous press production lines. The StenOgraph is installed directly at the out feed of the continuous press for on-line monitoring of raw density.
GreCon SuperScan Surface Inspection System is applicable in Decorative panels, Laminated Floorings, Lacquered Panels, Furniture Panels, Particalboard, and MDF. The SuperScan objectively inspects the surface for visual defects and marks the panel for automated sorting.
GreCon Moisture Meters are applicable only in the Wood Processing industry. The Moisture Meter is installed after the chip or fiber dryer or at the blender or forming station to determine moisture content prior to forming.
ABC Plug-Up Detection System is applicable in any industry which utilizes bins, cyclones, filters, hoppers, chutes, or other vessels subject to material bridging or plugging of flow. Typically applications with low density material are more subject to this problem, but many other products are susceptible. Some common industry applications include Wood, Chemical, Processing, and Food among others.
DA-X Raw Density Analyzer can be used to measure the raw density profiles of any type of board or panel sample, regardless of the production process. As a laboratory workstation, the DA-X can be located in the plant, offices, or wherever the user would like.
GreCon Weight Scales are used primarily in the Wood Processing, Plastic, and Rubber industries to measure the weight of any sheet-fed product in
production lines. Typically, the GreCon Weight Scale is installed in conjunction with a Thickness Gauge to calculate the raw density of a panel as well as the panel weight. The scale may also be installed in many
other industries as a stand-alone unit to measure product weight, on-line or in holding containers.
