New Product — Formaldehyde Emissions Analyzer GA 5000
An approved alternative test method by California Air Resources Board (CARB). EN 717-2 gas analysis method is a quick measuring method for formaldehyde emissions of wood based panels. Samples are place into a chamber heated to 60°C and air is passed through to water bubblers at 60 liters per hour. Water samples are tested by the spectrophotometer every hour. Includes one year free subscription to LabCheck ONLINE.

GreCon Superscan on the cover of PanelWorld
Continued Lamination Investment Pays Off For Flakeboard in Oregon. With an investment in a new laminating line here at one of industry’s first particleboard plants, Flakeboard has given a big vote of confidence in the Duraflake facility that it purchased from Weyerhaeuser in 2006, along with two additional particleboard plants and three MDF facilities for a combined capacity of 1.1 billion SF.
The mill selected Siempelkamp lamination line with GreCon Superscan grading system at the new line's outfeed....

Powder and Dust are Explosive Materials
Most materials in a solid form are not easlily combustable. Take that same solid material and grind it into a powerder and it becomes more combustable. Take that powder and disperse it into the air, now you have a highly-flammable mixture of fuel and oxygen. (Processing Magazine).
Processing Goes Inside GreCon CC5000 Spark Detection System
"After the introduction of the CC7000 for standard to highly-advanced applications we identified a need for a system to support standard applications for the small to mid-size facilities."
Both the CC5000 and CC7000 series control consoles use multi-microprocessor based modular design, intergraded uninterruptible power supply with battery backup, a large graphic display interface panel, and can be configured from 1 to over 100 zones of protection.
The CC5000 series was specifically designed for ...

GWS 3-32 Booster Pump for Small Facilities
GreCon Spark Detection Systems will automatically detect and extinguish sparks and burning embers. Unless there is no water pressure. Normal city water systems may not have the required pressure to provide effective coverage to extinguish these hazzards. Factory Mutual stipulates a minimum pressure requirement at the valve. With the GreCon booster pump system, this problem is solved! The new GreCon GWS 3/32 booster pump was designed to solve the low water pressure problem for small facilities.

Spark Detection Principle video
This video provides a graphical view of the principle of spark detection and extinguishing systems. This video displays a cut out view of a pneumatic duct with sensors, a control console, and extinguishing devices. It provides a virtual demonstration of how spark detection systems work.
Spark Detection Applications page
Customers have been asking how to apply the spark detection system in different applications. Check out our new Spark Detection Applications page for your application. This page will be updated as we document different applications. Currently we have the standard baghouse applications but more will be posted soon.
Surface Inspection Principle video
This video provides a graphical view of the principle of surface inspection Superscan systems. This video shows a production run of a decorative panel from the layers, pressing, trim, surface cleaning, surface inspection, marking and sorting.
